  • He was raised at Harvey’s Lake in the Pocono Mountain region of northeastern PA.

  • He wanted to be a physician since the third grade.

  • He worked in a French restaurant and currently enjoys cooking and baking.

  • He was on the ultimate Frisbee team in medical school.

  • He believes in the benefits of regular fitness and weight training.

  • He was a Major in the US Army and served in the Middle East as a battalion surgeon for a rocket artillery unit during the first Gulf War.

  • He was a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Weapons Officer for the US Army.

  • He has coached all three of his children’s Y soccer teams.

  • He enjoys running, biking, snow skiing, swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving.

  • He and Laurie have been youth ministry leaders at First Presbyterian for 15 years.

  • He and Laurie have been happily married since 1984 and have three wonderful children.
